Manifesto
Chemistry first. Skin later.
Chemistry first. Skin later. That's the whole manifesto in four words, and everything else on Naughty Singles grows from it. We believe the most interesting thing about a person isn't the photo they chose on a good day, but the way they live, love, flirt and want. We believe that should come first.
So we built a dating app that inverts the usual order. You discover compatibility by playing. You meet the people who fit you. And the face arrives last, when it finally means something.

We got tired of the catalog
Somewhere along the way, dating turned into shopping. A face, a flick of the thumb, the next face. Hundreds of people reduced to half a second each, and all of us learning to reduce ourselves in return: the right angle, the right light, the right three words in a bio nobody reads.
It isn't anyone's fault. It's just what happens when an app is built around the face. The face is loud, and it drowns out everything else. The people you'd laugh with until three in the morning, the ones who'd plan their Sundays exactly like you, the ones who want what you want, can slide past before you ever find out.
We've seen what that does to people. It makes them tired. It makes them feel like products. It teaches them to collect likes and fear silence. If that sounds familiar, you're not the only one; plenty of people are tired of dating apps for exactly this reason. We wanted to build the opposite.
Don't swipe faces. Find compatibility.
Chemistry first, skin later, in practice
“Chemistry first, skin later” isn't a slogan we put on a banner. It's a rule we build by: if a feature shows the person before the compatibility, it's wrong. Every screen in the app has to pass that test.
It's why there's no bio: personality is learned by playing sentence cards, not by writing a sales pitch. It's why your Match DNA speaks before your photo does. It's why photos stay blurred for almost everyone, and why blurred photos can't be un-blurred. It's why the like doesn't exist, and why first contact means sending ten honest statements about yourself instead of a heart.
None of this means looks don't matter. Attraction is real, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. It means attraction gets to stand next to compatibility instead of standing in front of it. When the clear photo finally arrives, it doesn't decide anything. It confirms something you already felt.
What we believe
You are more than a photo
A face is a moment. A person is a thousand small preferences, habits, limits and hopes. We'd rather you meet someone through all of that, and meet their face as the last beautiful detail.
“Don't care” is not “not me”
Nuance matters. Not wanting something is different from not minding it. That's why every card has three answers, ME TOO, DON'T CARE and NOT ME, instead of the lazy yes or no.
Silence isn't rejection
Nobody on Naughty Singles collects rejections. If someone doesn't answer, nothing is broken and nothing is lost. Not matching is also knowing something, and knowing is always a step forward.
Desire deserves respect
Wanting is human, and it deserves elegance, not vulgarity. Our intensity levels are opt-in, LIGHT is always there, and consent, limits and respect frame everything. Nobody is compared on a part of themselves they didn't choose to share.
Compatibility has no city
The person who fits you best may not live around the corner. So there's no distance filter and no geolocation: the community is built by language, and the international community grows with every language we open.
Nobody looks without being seen
To see others, you show yourself. No photo, no top. Your clear face is only for the people you reach out to and your match. Looking is always mutual, and always earned.
The match was only the beginning
Most apps treat the match as the finish line. A little burst of confetti, and then an empty chat box and a “hi” that goes nowhere. We think the match is where the interesting part starts.
That's why, after a match, you don't write yet. You play. In the In Sync chat, one of you picks a question and answers it, the other answers blind, and you reveal together. Matching answers bring you closer to the free chat. Different answers teach you something. By the time you're talking freely, you already share a small history: coincidences you laughed about, differences you got curious about.
The chat is earned together, and that changes its temperature. Nobody arrives there by accident. Nobody arrives there alone.
The kind of truths we'd rather start with
Not a headline, not a filter. Just the small, specific statements that say who someone really is. These are real cards from the app.
I end the day writing in a notebook about how it went.
I don't trade my principles to please anyone.
Introducing someone to my friends is how I say it's serious.
I'm not into scripted flirting or lines from a manual.
The smell of rain on skin tempts me more than any perfume.
What we promise, and what we won't do
We promise to be honest with you. Your top only shows real people, and nothing fictional is contactable. The universe counter you see while playing is an estimate of possibilities, not a boast about users. We launch in English, Spanish and Portuguese at the same time, first on Android, and we'll tell you plainly when the iPhone version is ready, instead of pretending it already exists.
We promise the essentials stay free: playing, seeing your top, reaching out, answering, In Sync and the free chat. Optional extras may come one day, but we will never charge you to unlock a person.
And we won't sell you certainty. Compatibility isn't destiny, and a percentage isn't a guarantee. What we offer is a better starting point: meeting someone because of who they are, and letting chemistry, the kind you feel in person, do the rest. If you want to think about the difference, our guide to chemistry vs compatibility is a good companion to this page.
Real people. Deeper connections.
This is who Naughty Singles is for: people who want connection, tuning, chemistry, affinity. People who are curious about others and honest about themselves. People who like a little mischief, the elegant kind, and who know that the best part of meeting someone is discovering them slowly.
If that's you, welcome. Play your first cards, watch your universe shrink toward the people who truly fit, and let the faces wait a little. They'll mean more when they arrive. To see how it all fits together, start with how the app works.
More than matches.
Frequently asked questions
What does “chemistry first, skin later” mean?
It means compatibility comes first and the physical comes later. On Naughty Singles you discover affinity by playing sentence cards, you meet the people who fit you best through a compatibility percentage and a reason why you'd connect, and only then does a clear photo arrive. The face still matters; it just confirms a connection instead of replacing it.
Is Naughty Singles against looks or attraction?
Not at all. Attraction is real, and it's even one of the 40 categories the app measures. What we reject is letting a single photo decide everything in half a second. On Naughty Singles, attraction stands next to compatibility rather than in front of it, and faces arrive when there's already a reason to care.
Why is it called Naughty Singles?
Because a little mischief is part of chemistry. “Naughty” here means playful, curious and elegant, never vulgar. The app covers everyday life, flirting, desire and intensity through opt-in levels, and LIGHT is always included. You decide how far you want to go, and you're only compared with others on the levels you both chose.
Who makes Naughty Singles?
Naughty Singles is made by DarLong Studios, the studio behind Naughty Match, its sister app for couples. Naughty Singles is the version for singles aged 18 and over, built around one idea: compatibility first, faces last. It launches in English, Spanish and Portuguese at the same time, first on Android, with iPhone coming later.
