The 40 compatibility categories behind every match
Naughty Singles measures 40 compatibility categories for dating, 10 for each of the four intensity levels. Every card you answer feeds exactly one category, and together they form your Match DNA: a profile of how you live, flirt and desire, compared category by category with other people.
The key idea is simple: categories match, not sentences. You and someone else don't need to have seen the same cards to be compared fairly.

How the compatibility categories work
Each card is a short first-person statement, like "I plan my whole week on Sunday afternoon." You answer ME TOO, DON'T CARE or NOT ME, and that answer adds to your affinity in one category, in this case daily habits. After a few rounds, every category you've played has a clear reading.
That's why two people can be compared even if they saw completely different cards. The app compares affinity in daily habits with affinity in daily habits, romance with romance, flirting with flirting. The calculation runs in both directions, happens on the server and never sends the other person's profile to your phone.
Not all categories weigh the same. The more intimate levels count more, and the weakest shared level pulls the total down instead of disappearing into an average. Categories you marked as non-negotiable act as a door: if someone is far from you there, they stay out of your top, and those categories weigh double in your score.

The 10 everyday categories (LIGHT)
Daily habits: routines, sleep, order and the rhythm of your days.
Pets: whether animals are family, a maybe or a no.
Drinking & smoking: the place alcohol and tobacco have in your life, if any.
Fitness & health: how much movement and wellbeing shape your week.
Family & kids: wanting children or not, and how close you are to your family.
Beliefs & values: principles and the moral compass you don't negotiate.
Money & ambition: saving, spending, career and free time.
Social life: quiet nights in or plans every weekend.
Travel & adventure: improvised trips, bucket lists and new horizons.
Romance: how you show love and what makes it serious for you.
The 10 chemistry categories (SPICY)
Attraction: what draws you to someone beyond looks.
Chemistry: the click, long conversations and comfortable silences.
Flirting: direct or subtle, written or face to face.
Making the first move: taking the initiative or enjoying being approached.
Dating style: planned or spontaneous, one drink or the whole night.
Flirty texting: how much of the spark lives in your messages.
Public affection: holding hands in public or keeping it private.
Desire: how much mutual desire matters to you.
Senses: scent, voice and the small details that tempt you.
Temptation: how far you'd go and how you enjoy the edge.
HOT and EXTREME: 20 more compatibility categories, only if you choose them
The other 20 categories belong to the intimate levels, and they only exist for people who opt into them. HOT explores your style in intimacy, rhythm and energy, fantasies, the visual side of desire and playfulness. EXTREME explores consensual dynamics, limits agreed in advance, seeing and being seen, and unconventional curiosity.
These categories are written with elegance, compared only between people who both chose that level, and never shown answer by answer to anyone. If you stay at LIGHT or SPICY, they simply don't enter your profile.

Frequently asked questions
What are the 40 compatibility categories?
They are the areas Naughty Singles uses to compare people: 10 everyday categories in LIGHT, 10 chemistry categories in SPICY, and 10 each in the optional HOT and EXTREME levels. Every card you answer measures one of them, and together they form your compatibility profile, called Match DNA.
Why do categories match instead of sentences?
Because nobody can answer every card. Each statement measures one category, so two people who saw different cards can still be compared fairly on, say, family or flirting. It lets the app offer a wide variety of cards while keeping the comparison consistent and fair for everyone.
Do all compatibility categories count the same?
No. Categories from the more intimate levels weigh more, and the weakest shared level pulls the total down rather than being averaged away. Categories you marked as non-negotiable work as a gate: if someone is far from you there, that person won't appear in your top.
Will I be asked about HOT or EXTREME categories?
Only if you choose those levels. You set your maximum level at the start and never receive a card from a level you didn't activate. Your compatibility with each person is calculated only on the levels you both share.
