EXTREME: open-minded dating with limits you set yourself
EXTREME is the level for open-minded dating with limits: people whose curiosity goes further than most, and who know that the more daring the territory, the clearer the agreements need to be. It covers consensual dynamics, agreed boundaries and unconventional interests, always framed by consent and respect. It's the fourth of the intensity levels, it's 100% opt-in, and you decide, always.
In your results it becomes the Intensity gem. Like HOT, it carries extra weight in your score, and it's only ever compared with people who also chose it.
Why open-minded dating needs clear limits
Being open-minded is not the same as having no limits. The people who explore the most tend to be the ones who talk the most about boundaries, trust and consent. They know that intensity only works when both people want the same thing, understand the same rules and feel free to stop at any moment.
That's also why this kind of compatibility is so hard to find on ordinary apps. Nobody wants to open a first conversation with it, and nobody wants to discover a mismatch after weeks of chatting. So people either hide who they are or say too much too soon. Neither feels good.
EXTREME offers a third way. You answer short, discreet cards about how you feel regarding certain dynamics and limits. Nothing is described, nothing is shown, and nobody sees your answers. The app simply finds the people whose curiosity and boundaries line up with yours, among those who opted into the same level.
What the EXTREME level explores
EXTREME has 10 categories. Instead of listing them one by one, here is the territory they cover together: consensual power dynamics, limits and taboos agreed in advance, the thrill of seeing and being seen, and unconventional curiosity that goes beyond the usual. Every card is written with elegance, as a first-person statement about what you feel, never as a description of anything.
There's an important detail in how the level works: it looks for coinciding tastes, not complementary ones. Two people meet in EXTREME when their curiosities and limits point the same way, not because one is assumed to be the opposite of the other. That keeps the comparison honest and leaves roles to be agreed between real people, in conversation.
And, as in every level, DON'T CARE and NOT ME are answers with full value. Saying no is part of knowing yourself, and the app treats every limit you mark as information that protects you, not as something to overcome.
Consent, privacy and you decide
EXTREME exists only under these conditions. They're part of the design, not optional extras.
100% opt-in
You choose your maximum level at the start. If you don't select EXTREME, it doesn't exist for you: no cards, no gem, no comparison. It's never on by default and never suggested to people who didn't choose it.
Private answers
Nobody sees your individual answers. They shape your compatibility profile, and the comparison runs on the server. Other people see a percentage and a gem reading, never what you said.
Only among people who chose it
Your EXTREME answers are compared only with people who also activated EXTREME. Everyone else is compared with you on the levels you truly share.
Limits come first
Some cards let you mark something as non-negotiable. If you marked something that way and someone is far from you on it, that person won't appear in your top; each person's limits filter their own top. Your limits act as a door, not a suggestion.
Why EXTREME weighs more in your score
Intimate levels carry more weight in your compatibility, and EXTREME is the most intimate of all. If you and someone else both play it, a strong match here shows clearly, and a real mismatch pulls the total down instead of being hidden by good results in everyday life. The app doesn't average blindly: the weakest shared level matters. You can see the complete logic in Match DNA.
This is a protection as much as a feature. Someone can be charming, share your values and flirt exactly like you, and still stand in a very different place when it comes to intensity. Knowing that before the first date is kinder to both people.
If EXTREME isn't for you, nothing is lost by leaving it closed. Your score is calculated only on the levels you chose, with no penalty.
Reading the Intensity gem
When you both play EXTREME, the gem shows one of three readings:
Truly fit
Your curiosities and limits line up closely. You'd be starting from shared ground and shared rules, which is the best place for trust to grow.
Similarly daring
A comparable level of boldness, with some differences in where each of you draws the line. Worth a sincere conversation, at your own pace.
Different territories
Your interests and boundaries point in different directions. Not a judgment, just clarity: each of you deserves someone who wants the same thing.
Who the EXTREME level is for
EXTREME is for adults who already know themselves well in this area and want a partner with a similar mindset: curious, respectful and clear about limits. If you describe yourself as open-minded when dating, or if you see intimacy through a sex-positive lens, this is the level designed for you.
It's not for everyone, and it's not meant to be. Many people stop at LIGHT, SPICY or HOT and have a complete experience. Choosing EXTREME doesn't make anyone more interesting, and not choosing it doesn't make anyone less. It only makes sense if it reflects who you are.
When a connection moves from the app to real life, the same principles apply. Talk first, agree on limits, and keep the freedom to stop at any time. Frequently asked questions
What does open-minded dating with limits mean?
It means being curious and open to intense or unconventional experiences while keeping clear, agreed boundaries. In Naughty Singles, the EXTREME level measures that compatibility discreetly: consensual dynamics, agreed limits and bold curiosity. It's optional, private and compared only between people who chose it, always with consent as the frame.
Is the EXTREME level explicit?
No. EXTREME cards are short, elegant first-person statements about how you feel, never descriptions of practices. They talk about dynamics, limits and curiosity in a tasteful way. You answer ME TOO, DON'T CARE or NOT ME, and nobody else sees your individual answers.
Does EXTREME match opposite roles?
No. The app compares coinciding tastes, not complementary roles. Two people match in EXTREME when their curiosities and limits point the same way. How any dynamic actually works between two people is something they agree on together, in conversation, with consent.
Can anyone see that I chose EXTREME?
Your individual answers are never shown to anyone. The comparison runs on the server and other people only see a compatibility percentage and gem readings on the levels you share. People who didn't choose EXTREME are never compared with you there. In first contact, one statement may come from EXTREME only if the other person plays it too, and you pick which one.
Can I choose EXTREME and change my mind later?
The level is always your choice, and nothing in it is a commitment to do anything. Answers describe preferences, not promises. In real life, consent can be withdrawn at any moment. If you're unsure whether EXTREME represents you, it's perfectly fine to stay at HOT or below.
