Open, curious, respectful

A sex positive dating app, built on consent

A sex positive dating app should let you be honest about desire without making it the only thing you are. That's the balance Naughty Singles aims for. Desire is part of compatibility here, measured like everything else, through short cards you answer privately. But it's opt-in, it's layered, and it's only ever compared with people who chose to go there too.

You decide how far you want to go across four intensity levels. Two people are only compared on the levels both of them picked, and you'll never see a question from a level you didn't turn on. Being sex positive, after all, starts with respecting everyone's yes and everyone's no.

Relationship compatibility based on multiple dimensions of interests, personality and chemistry

What sex positive means to us

Sex positivity isn't about being as explicit as possible. It's an attitude: desire is a normal, healthy part of adult life; curiosity isn't shameful; and every person gets to set their own limits without being judged for them. That includes the person who wants to explore a lot and the person who wants to keep things gentle.

So on this page you won't find a catalog of practices. You'll find something more useful: a way to discover, before any date, whether the way you experience desire fits the way someone else does, with consent and privacy built in from the first card.

Why the usual apps get desire wrong

On swipe-faces apps, desire has two settings. Either it's invisible, hidden behind polite small talk until someone takes an awkward leap, or it's the only thing on the table, reduced to photos and blunt openers that make most people close the app. Neither helps you find someone whose rhythm, curiosity and limits actually match yours.

The result is predictable. You find out about incompatibility in desire late, after investing time and feelings, or you get messages you never asked for. A sex positive approach needs the opposite: a private way to state what you're into, a way to keep what you're not into out of your world entirely, and a match that only happens when both sides are comfortable.

How our sex positive dating app handles desire

Everything starts with cards: first-person statements you answer with ME TOO, DON'T CARE or NOT ME. Your answers build your Match DNA across 40 categories, 10 per intensity level.

Four levels, chosen by you

LIGHT covers everyday life and is always on. SPICY covers flirting and chemistry, including categories like desire, senses and temptation. HOT is about desire itself: your style in intimacy, rhythm and energy, fantasies. EXTREME goes without filter, always within a frame of consent, agreed limits and respect. You choose where you stop, and you can keep it there.

Private by design

Nobody reads your individual answers. Other people's affinity profiles never reach your phone; the comparison runs on the server, and what you see is a compatibility percentage, a reading per level and why you'd connect. The only statements anyone sees from you are the ones you choose to send.

Coinciding tastes, not assigned roles

The engine looks for coinciding tastes. People who want the same things, at the same intensity, score higher. It doesn't pair people by complementary roles, and it doesn't average away a mismatch: the weakest level weighs, so if you're aligned in daily life but far apart in desire, your total reflects that honestly.

Consent in every step

In first contact you send 10 of your own statements with your photo: five LIGHT, three SPICY, one HOT and one EXTREME, but only from levels the other person plays. They answer, and answering is the match. Then In Sync, a blind question game, has to be completed on your shared levels before the free chat opens. Nothing arrives that the other person didn't choose to see.

A taste of the SPICY cards

HOT and EXTREME stay private, so here are a few cards from SPICY, the level of flirting and chemistry.

DesireSPICY

I need to feel mutual desire, not be the only one looking for it.

SensesSPICY

The smell of rain on skin tempts me more than any perfume.

AttractionSPICY

I'm drawn to people who are comfortable in their own skin.

ChemistrySPICY

I lose myself in conversations that last until dawn.

FlirtingSPICY

I flirt better in writing than in person.

Sex positive dating advice that respects everyone

Openness works best with a few habits that keep it safe, kind and genuinely fun:

  • Know your limits before you need them. Decide calmly what's a yes, a maybe and a no for you, so you're never deciding under pressure.
  • Talk about desire gradually. Start with what you enjoy in general, then get specific as trust grows. Our guide on how to talk about desires with someone new has good ways in.
  • Treat a no as information, not a verdict. Different tastes don't make anyone less interesting. Not matching is also knowing something.
  • Ask again as things change. Consent isn't a checkbox you tick once. What felt right last week can be different tonight, for either of you.
  • Meet in public first, whatever the chemistry. Being open about desire and being careful about safety go perfectly together.

Frequently asked questions

What is a sex positive dating app?

It's a dating app that treats desire as a normal part of adult compatibility, without shame and without pressure. In Naughty Singles that means optional intensity levels for desire and intensity, private answers, and a rule that you're only compared with people on the levels both of you chose. Consent and respect frame everything.

Can other people see my answers about desire?

No. Your individual answers aren't shown on a profile. Other people's affinity profiles never reach your phone because the comparison runs on the server. What people see is a compatibility percentage, a reading per level and why you'd connect, plus any statements you personally choose to send in first contact.

Will I receive questions I didn't sign up for?

No. You pick how far you want to go when you sign up. You'll never see a question from a level you didn't activate, and first contact only includes statements from levels the other person plays. If you keep HOT and EXTREME off, nobody will bring them to you through the app.

Does the app match complementary roles?

No. The engine measures coinciding tastes: people who want the same things at a similar intensity score higher. It doesn't pair people by opposite roles. That keeps the focus on shared desire and shared limits, which is what makes intimacy feel mutual.

Is the app available in English?

Yes. Naughty Singles launches in English, Spanish and Portuguese at the same time, first on Android, with iPhone coming later. You can pre-register now to find out as soon as it launches.
